This role supports shelter residents, ensuring safety, stability, and healing during crises and transitions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily needs
• Conduct intake assessments and orientations
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Prepare rooms
• Perform safety checks
• Provide shelter coverage with minimal supervision

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is calm, dependable, compassionate, adaptable, and able to manage emotional situations and competing priorities. A strong communicator with integrity and a commitment to serving survivors with dignity and respect is required. A minimum of six months of experience in a residential or shelter environment is necessary, and a bachelor's degree in related fields is preferred.
