Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
  • Introduce and promote new insurance products through client communication.
  • Increase profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added-value services.
  • Consult on the most effective coverage for specific client needs.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by responding swiftly to client queries and concerns.
  • Communicate with colleagues and carrier representatives to stay informed about new and existing products, online quoting, market conditions, and competitors' offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with OneGroup procedures by staying updated on all changes.
  • Negotiate with underwriters to amend policies as needed to meet client demands.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge and competency in using the Agency Management System (Applied Epic), Microsoft Office, and other required software.
  • Maintain technical proficiency with coverages and various types of insurance policies.
  • Authorize binding of Commercial Lines coverage within carrier-granted authority.
  • Participate in seminars and training for skill and knowledge development.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and compliance with, all applicable laws and regulations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School Diploma (all applicants must be 18 years of age or older).

Professional Certifications/Licenses:

  • 220 License Required.
  • Maintain Agent/Broker License through continuing education.
  • Earn or maintain CISR Designation.

Experience/Skills:

  • 5 years of insurance experience required.
  • Working knowledge of Agency Management Systems; experience with Applied Epic is a plus.
  • Proficiency in menu-driven software, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and Acord forms.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in meeting new people and strong relationship management skills.
  • Trustworthiness, integrity, sincerity, and discretion.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Results-driven approach to meet core responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
  • Ability to develop and deliver innovative ideas.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.

Pay

Minimum USD $23.30/Hr. Maximum USD $35.07/Hr.

Schedule

40 hours a week.
