Client Accounting Inventory Control Analyst
About the role
The Client Accounting Inventory Control Analyst position is based in our NYC office and is part of the Firm's Client Accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Client Accounting team by monitoring the Firm’s billing inventory, preparing reports, and assisting with monthly forecasting and follow-up efforts related to outstanding balances.
- Reviews outstanding balance reports to ensure compliance and identifies client/matters requiring follow-up action and additional reporting information.
- Conducts monthly review meetings with assigned Client Accounting Billing Managers and Supervisors to address outstanding balances.
- Flags client/matter items that require follow-up and helps track next steps and status updates.
- Aids in the monthly forecasting process.
- Assists with the billing/collections escalation process.
- Provides daily updates to the global billing team regarding monthly goals and current status (as assigned).
- Handles multiple complex analysis projects.
- Communicates issues and escalates as needed.
- Identifies and communicates training and coaching needs of department staff.
- Enhances knowledge of all Client Accounting procedures and processes.
- Communicates relevant information, guidance, and support to others in the Firm.
- Manages Firm resources responsibly.
- Complies with and understands Firm operations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Aderant, StarCollect, Outlook, Excel, Word), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Exhibits excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.

This position is based in our NYC office and is a hybrid role.
Pay
The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range of $95,000 - $105,000. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
