About the role

The Client Accounting Clerk position is open for a hybrid work arrangement in our New York office. This role requires performing technical and administrative tasks for the Client Accounting Department.

Responsibilities

  • Scans documents using the Firm's PDF programs and indexing system.
  • Retrieves client charges and disbursement back-up using applications such as Aderant and other document archiving systems.
  • Assists with conducting audits of Aderant Expert Image databases.
  • Affords assistance in updating and maintaining various reports on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Actively seeks to enhance knowledge of all Client Accounting procedures and processes.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of relevant Firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems.
  • Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.

Schedule

This position is offered on a hybrid schedule, combining remote and in-office work.

Pay

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range of $52,500 - $57,500, with actual salary determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
