Client Account Specialist

Job Description

Associa is looking for a Client Account Specialist (CAS) to join their team. The CAS provides financial services to community associations in a fast-paced centralized accounting services environment.

How will you make an impact?

• Assists with in-office tasks such as processing checks, sorting, coding, and filling out AR income forms.
• Reviews and approves monthly financial statements for various clients.
• Manages transition of new clients, including setting up bank accounts, closing accounts, processing signature cards, and budget entry.
• Oversees and requests AP & AR corrections, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account adjustments.
• Manages recurring charges such as homeowner assessments, parking, and storage.
• Attends in-person or virtual board meetings as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in general ledger accounting.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Effective communication and persuasive speaking skills.
• Understanding of AP and AR transaction processes.
• Willingness to grow and take on new projects.
• Prioritization, time management, and meeting deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally on phone, email, and in-person.
• Ability to operate general office equipment.

Pay

$24.00 - $27.00 per hour; depending on experience.
