About the role
The Cleveland office of Fisher Phillips, an international management-side labor and employment law firm, seeks an associate with 3–5 years of employment or complex litigation experience.
Responsibilities
- Drafting position statements to government agencies
- Drafting and responding to pleadings
- Managing discovery
- Drafting and arguing motions
- Taking and defending depositions
- Participating in mediations, agency hearings, arbitrations, and trials
Requirements
Excellent academic credentials
Strong writing and analytical skills
The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
A commitment to client service and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
The ability to work independently as a self-starter while contributing effectively to a team
Admission to the Ohio Bar is required
