Cleveland Clinic Florida - Adult Inpatient Psychiatrists

About the role

These physicians will be leading a team of clinicians in our 36 inpatient psychiatry bed unit and advancing their career as we expand neuropsychiatry and geropsychiatry services in the Florida hospital system. Expertise in geriatric psychiatry is highly desired, and ECT certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of clinicians in our 36 inpatient psychiatry bed unit
• Develop two half-day outpatient psychiatry clinics per week, focusing on bridge clinic follow-up visits and intensive outpatient program (IOP) referrals
• Serve as medical director of the Behavioral Health Center (BHC) at CCIR if qualified
• Provide inpatient and outpatient psychiatry coverage
• Participate in weekend call approximately 1 in 4 weekends, with cross-coverage among psychiatry services

Requirements

• ABPN board-certified/Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist
• Expertise in geriatric psychiatry is highly desired
• ECT certification is strongly preferred

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certified in adult psychiatry
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry operations
