Cleveland-Cleaning Floater

A Quality Facility Services is looking for dependable individuals who enjoy variety, helping others, and are interested in growing into a leadership role. This Floater position is an excellent stepping stone toward becoming a Supervisor.

About the role

You'll gain experience working at different facilities, learning our cleaning standards, assisting with training new employees, supporting our teams, and seeing firsthand how our operations work. Many of our leaders started as cleaners and worked their way into supervisory and management positions. We believe in promoting from within whenever possible.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with training and onboarding new employees at assigned facilities
• Demonstrating proper cleaning procedures and expectations to new team members
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and common areas
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Cleaning and polishing surfaces, fixtures, and trim
• Emptying trash and transporting it to designated disposal areas
• Cleaning rugs and mats
• Washing windows, doors, walls, panels, and sills as needed
• Buffing floors at certain facilities
• Maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas
• Assisting at different facilities based on staffing needs

Requirements

• Have a valid, clean driver's license
• Have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling approximately 50 miles per day
• Be available and flexible during the 5:00 PM–1:00 AM shift or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (both shifts available)
• Be dependable and able to work independently
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Be comfortable helping and training new employees on proper cleaning procedures and expectations
• Be comfortable stepping in and assisting wherever needed
• Have an interest in learning, growing, and potentially advancing into a leadership role

No cleaning experience is required — we provide paid training!

Schedule

• Shift: 5:00 PM–1:00 AM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (both shifts available)
• Every other weekend is required
• When scheduled to work the weekend, two days off during the week are provided to help maintain a balanced schedule

This is a traveling Floater position with expected travel averaging approximately 50 miles per day. You will travel between different client facilities based on staffing and operational needs. Flexibility and dependability are essential.
