Clerk - Warehouse (Plant Logistics)

This position is Monday–Friday with a base rate of $27.40.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory within a warehouse by receiving and processing incoming stock
• Pick and fill orders; pack and ship items
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the warehouse remains organized and clean
• Utilize computer systems to track stock levels and process orders
• Check deliveries for damage, label items, and communicate with customers and vendors regarding shipments
• Monitor material received and shipped from the facility, including shortages and overages
• Create shipping/receiving documents such as Pick Lists, Putaway Lists, Load Sheets, BOLs, and Packing Slips
• Log inbound and outbound discrepancies (wrong product, incorrect quantity, damages)
• Prepare routine reports and file shipping/receiving documents
• Communicate with Front Office clerk when ordering office supplies
• Limit access to receiving/loading dock by unauthorized individuals
• Work with various departments and maintain a flexible attitude supporting organizational goals
• Coordinate damaged and defective products to ensure proper accounting and handling

Requirements

• Minimum five years of Shipping/Receiving Office Clerk responsibilities
• Good communication, organization, time management, and basic mathematical skills
• Inventory, equipment operator certification, data entry, and computer skills may be required
• Experience working with a variety of WMS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Understanding and knowledge of SAP ERP/MRP, Warehouse management systems, SAP, etc.
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Operational experience is preferred
