Responsibilities
- Prepare, type, and format a variety of documents, including correspondence, reports, memos, and forms with a high level of accuracy.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into company databases and spreadsheets.
- Maintain and update physical and digital filing systems, ensuring documents are organised and easily accessible.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and other communications.
- Answer telephone calls, provide information to callers, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Aid with general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
- Support various departments with administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client information.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a clerk typist, data entry, or similar administrative role.
- Exceptional typing speed and accuracy are essential for this position.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent command of the English language, with strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
- Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
