Retirement

Benefit-eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the Utah Retirement Systems (URS). The District contributes to the URS plan monthly on your behalf. After a four-year vesting period, you may choose between:

• Hybrid option: a pension combined with a 401(k) plan, or
• 401(k) option (both employer-paid).

You may also enhance your retirement by contributing additional funds from your paycheck to a 401(k), 457, Traditional IRA, or Roth IRA.
