About the role
The Clerk I, Local School - HS position supports the school office operations.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
- Maintains filing system and operates computer and other office machines.
- Aids in preparing reports and correspondence as requested.
- Receives and routes incoming phone calls and opens/mail as requested.
- Assists secretary with receptionist duties or acts as receptionist for the school.
- Utilizes student information system to access information as needed.
- Maintains accurate attendance records using student information system.
- Runs various types of reports using the student information system.
- Assists with backup bookkeeping responsibilities, attendance information, time entry, and pay records as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
Requirements
- Educational Level: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification/License Required: None.
- Experience: Two years routine clerical experience preferred.
Physical Activities
Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Written and oral communication.
- Typing and computer skills.
- Organization.
Pay
Less than Annual.
