Clerical and Administrative Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency
- Schedule appointments and coordinate services for families and staff
- Maintain and organize master files, including scanning, tracking, duplicating, and updating records in HMIS
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and proper coding prior to submission to Accounts Payable
- Order and manage administrative materials such as brochures, business cards, name badges, and training supplies
- Provide general administrative support to the funeral home team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Qualifications
- 1+ years of administrative or clerical support experience
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Experience with HMIS a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay
$22-24/hr.
