Cleared Azure O&M Cloud Engineer L3
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Azure O&M Cloud Engineer to join our team in Beavercreek, OH. You will be responsible for the overall administration, operations, and maintenance of a classified Azure environment and all associated software, including subscription and marketplace management, monitoring end-to-end system health, performing maintenance tasks such as patching, troubleshooting, and automating deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services.
You will maintain a Windows Active Directory domain and support Linux infrastructure in the classified region, providing expertise in Azure O&M duties such as:
- Supporting a Linux & Windows Air-Gapped environment.
- Troubleshooting systems as needed and routing trouble tickets & support requests to the Service Desk.
- Reviewing and automating workload deployments to meet site-specific requirements, enabling consumption of workloads from collateral and program users on the same stack.
- Automating the configuration and deployment of solutions, delivering code into a USG-owned software factory.
- Designing, developing, and building an automated CI/CD pipeline to deliver complex software products into a production environment.
- Continuing development and maintenance of the automated software build process using tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and specific Azure technologies.
- Collaborating with internal engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of code into the production environment.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and automation.
- Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Continuously improving and optimizing infrastructure and automation processes.
- Supporting a cloud-hosted DevOps Platform inside Azure that leverages cloud-based infrastructure such as Azure Kubernetes Service to enable rapid software development.
- Leading, planning, designing, and implementing backlog tasking (e.g., component upgrades, feature requests, bug fixes).
- Ensuring security controls are implemented correctly.
The ability to work constructively with a technically diverse team and a willingness to learn and stay abreast of industry trends are crucial.
Requirements
- Must be within driving distance of Beavercreek, OH or willing to relocate there (relocation packages available).
- Must be willing to work onsite.
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance or above.
- U.S. citizenship status is required for this position.
Qualifications
- Advanced technical competency and experience in one or more of the following areas: Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Federated Services, Active Directory Certificate Services, Windows Server Update Services, YUM, ACAS Automation, Azure Monitor / Log Analytics, Kubernetes.
- Ability to manage an Air-gapped Linux update infrastructure on behalf of the customer.
- Ability to submit required documentation in support of a change configuration management process.
- 5+ years of related experience in SCI/SAP environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field AND 3+ years of leadership experience in a relevant area of business OR equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years of demonstrated performance in related technology.

Pay
$145,000.00 - $185,000.00
