Key Responsibilities
- Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
- Maintains product levels daily to achieve bottom line sales budget against targets.
- Manages payroll costs and operating costs to budget.
- Ensures Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
- Safeguards store locations to reflect the Goodwill brand appropriately.
- Partners with community businesses and organizations to promote Goodwill mission.
- Serves as a Goodwill ambassador to the community.
- Trains and develops store leadership.
- Trains and educates Donation Attendants on customer service and donation processing.
- Trains and ensures Team Members operate per company standards and procedures.
- Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
- Manages performance management, staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.
- Models Goodwill Core Values and drives company culture change efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Five years’ work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift
- Five years’ customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
