About the Role

The Cleanroom Technician II is responsible for cleaning and preparing parts in compliance with strict cleanroom protocols to support production and shipping requirements. This role manages work orders, verifies inventory accuracy, and ensures adherence to safety and contamination control standards across Class 100/1000/10000 environments. By driving process improvements and resolving discrepancies, the technician contributes to operational efficiency, product quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Help drive improvement in the Material Department.
  • Lead and/or assist in investigating discrepancies with shop orders.
  • Transact and deliver OWs to B6 Warehouse.
  • Perform the cleaning process to Ship Kits and IND shop orders.
  • Follow clean room protocol.
  • Understand and practice class 100/1000/10000 clean room procedures.
  • Perform clean room duties for 10K and 451 clean stations.
  • Verify count; communicate discrepancies to supervision.
  • Pull work orders or inventory requests for the shop floor.
  • Always adhere to safety standards.
  • Wear personal protective equipment when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 months' related experience required.

Skills

  • Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good oral communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

  • Works in a manufacturing environment.
  • Subject to hazards including working on ladders.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.
  • Subject to frequent interruptions.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
  • Ability to sit or stand for sustained periods of time.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Ability to move arms, hands and fingers.
  • Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks.
