Responsibilities

• Starts and ends shifts on time
• Walks in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Lifts and moves totes up to 49 pounds
• Stands and walks for up to 10-12 hours
• Reads and interprets safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents
• Follows instructions to change out sharp containers and dispose of medical waste
• Moves furniture, light fixtures or other items manually or with hand truck
• Executes proper use of all equipment
• Cleans building floor surfaces, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, degumming and spot cleaning
• Cleans furniture, walls, glass, mirrors, fixtures, machines and other equipment (e.g. Dust, wash, vacuum, and polish)
• Gathers and empties trash
• Serves, cleans and supplies restrooms
• Monitors and reports facility issues requiring repairs (notify Lead, Site or Zone Manager)
• Maintains building security and safety (lock doors after operating hours and ensure electrical appliances are turned off, etc.)
