Carolina Components Group is seeking a Cleanroom Technician to assemble, test, inspect, and package single-use assemblies in a controlled environment, following approved product design drawings, batch assembly records, and associated procedures.
Responsibilities
- Understand, retain, and effectively apply on-the-job training instructions.
- Consistently follow processes and procedures to operate compliantly within a controlled environmental manufacturing space.
- Read and understand assembly drawings and instructions to correctly and efficiently assemble products.
- Distinguish differences in sub-component parts based on part number and visual inspection.
- Perform in-process inspections per applicable specifications or work orders, including inspection of input and output materials and packaging integrity.
- Perform labeling and packaging activities.
- Consistently adhere to assembly methodology of accept/reject criteria.
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements of the Carolina Components Quality System.
- Interact with Quality Assurance personnel to ensure product quality and address any non-conformity detected.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Team Lead and/or Supervisor.
- Utilize approved tools and fixtures safely and efficiently.
- Complete line clearance, scrap records, training records, and other documentation as required.
- Maintain batch records for traceability purposes in accordance with company-documented standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Team Lead.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately in English.
- Ability to work safely around chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive work requiring strong dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous work experience within a controlled environmental space preferred.
- Previous assembly experience preferred.
Work Environment
- Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment and throughout a heated manufacturing and warehouse facility.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
