Cleaning Technician

About the role

The Floor Care Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of hard surfaces and carpets at Carlson client locations. This role requires operating various floor cleaning machines, performing debris cleanup, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, and quality control checks. The position also involves new hire training and interacting with customers, store personnel, and the public.

Requirements

• Availability to work on weekends.
• Reliable transportation or access to public transportation.

Physical Demands

• Ability to regularly lift 45 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull floor cleaning equipment over various flooring types.
• Sufficient physical strength, ability, and stamina for janitorial tasks.
• Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products.
• Ability to work night shifts and/or very early morning hours.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
• Able to adjust focus.
