Cleaning Supervisor

About the role

Supervises work activities of cleaning attendants and lead attendants to ensure clean, orderly and attractive areas in keeping with company standards and policies.

Essential responsibilities

• Assigns attendants cleaning duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards in both public and back‑of‑the‑house areas.
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of the proper usage of all housekeeping chemicals and procedures.
• Utilizes a hands‑on approach with strong leadership skills to successfully train and motivate team members.
• Follows and enforces all company policies, procedures and safety regulations.
• Recognizes and recommends opportunities for process improvements in housekeeping practices.
• Experienced in conflict resolution and willing to assist in solving work‑related problems.
• Completes administrative requirements such as issuance of daily assignments, inputting of time and attendance, providing positive, corrective counselling and processing materials requests.
• Follows GuestPath Universal Service Standards, Operational Service Standards, and SERVE expectations at all times.
• Performs duties in a safe manner; reports any potential safety hazards to management staff.
• Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s description when necessary for efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
