Cleaners

Schedule

Part‑time, 20 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, evening shift.

Responsibilities

• Look out for any repairs needed and notify Supervisor
• Dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning windows
• Sanitize, clean and restock restrooms
• Stock and supply faculty areas and classrooms
• Perform maintenance or cleaning‑related jobs requested by Supervisor

Requirements

• Successful applicants must obtain fingerprint clearance through the NYS Department of Education
• Ability to identify and complete tasks without supervision
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning, repairing items, painting, and general upkeep for maintenance
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of how to handle cleaning products safely
• Numeracy skills to measure cleaning fluids
• Ability to operate cleaning tools such as steam cleaners and floor buffers
• Time management and organizational skills
