Cleaner - Westways Primary

Rate: £12.71 per hour

About the role

Join our team as a part-time Cleaner at Westways Primary. This is a term-time position that will require some half-term working. We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces, values responsibility, and enjoys working on their own initiative.

You’ll be working 8.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
• Emptying bins and cleaning restrooms
• Ensuring sanitary stations are fully stocked
• Building relationships with clients on site
• Following health and safety protocols at all times
• Reporting any defects or damages

Requirements

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience (ideal but not mandatory)
• Knowledge of basic site health and safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with clients on-site
• Confidence working independently and on your own initiative
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
