About the Role

Applications are invited for the term-time continuing position of Cleaner. The cleaner will contribute to the effective and efficient operation and environment of the school by providing a high level of cleaning support to the school administration. The cleaner will ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained and that all duties are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by the nominee and in accordance with the school cleaning program.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level cleaning support to the school administration.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the school.
• Complete all cleaning duties to an acceptable standard as outlined in the school cleaning program.

Requirements

• Relevant cleaning experience.
• Understanding of and commitment to the values of Catholic Education.
• A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
• Australian work rights.

Pay

Hourly rate: $31.20 to $32.19 (pending experience) plus toilet cleaning allowance.
