Cleaner - Part-Time

Redstone Residential operates more than 38,000 beds across 20 states, with a heavy focus on student housing and a growing conventional multifamily portfolio. This part-time Cleaner role is based at one of their Provo communities.

Responsibilities

• Keep common areas clean and presentable, including hallways, clubhouse, leasing office, model unit, and parking areas on a consistent schedule.
• Perform outdoor maintenance: picking up trash and debris, clearing animal waste, and maintaining grounds and landscaping.
• Remove snow and ice from walkways and common spaces during winter.
• Conduct scheduled cleaning checks inside resident apartments to ensure units meet cleanliness standards, requiring a professional and respectful approach.
• Handle minor repairs and light general maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Prior janitorial or cleaning experience, professional or otherwise.
• Ability to manage tasks independently without constant direction.
• Friendly, courteous approach to residents and coworkers.
• Physical stamina for standing shifts and occasional heavy lifting (50+ pounds).

Student housing communities operate on tight turn schedules. Between lease cycles, properties need to flip dozens or hundreds of units quickly, and the cleaning team plays a central role in this process. Familiarity with make-ready standards can build transferable skills for future maintenance or facilities coordination roles.

Pay

$13.00 per hour.
