Cleaner (Hourly) - Blaisdell Addiction Treatment Center
Duties
- Removing garbage
- Cleaning offices, hallways and common areas
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning patient bedrooms once vacated
- Cleaning bathrooms including toilets, showers and sinks
- Buffing and waxing floors
Minimum Qualifications
- Physically able to perform medium to heavy physical labor
- Able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions
- Candidates with experience in commercial cleaning preferred
Additional Comments
Background Investigation Requirements:
- Checked against the Staff Exclusion List (SEL)
- Criminal Background Check (CBC) including State and federal Criminal History Record Checks
- Screened against the Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (SCR)

Pay
Salary Range: From $17 to $17 Hourly
Schedule
All Hourly positions with the NYS Office of Addiction Services & Supports (OASAS) are utilized on an “as needed” basis, and as such there is no guarantee of work hours or a set schedule.
