Cleaner - Carterknowle Junior School

About the role

Part‑time Cleaner at Carterknowle Junior School, term time with some half‑term working. You will work 13.5 hours per week (Monday‑Wednesday 2.5 hours each, Thursday‑Friday 3 hours each) starting at 3:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
• Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanitation stations are full
• Building relationships with clients on site
• Following health and safety at all times
• Reporting any defects or damages

Requirements

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Enhanced DBS check required (cost met by employer)

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with clients on‑site
• Confident working independently and using own initiative
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail

Schedule
