About the role

The Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors at our corporate facility. This position involves performing a variety of janitorial duties that ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of indoor (and outdoor where requested) spaces. The Cleaner will be responsible for floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Additionally, the role requires adherence to safety procedures while operating machinery and using cleaning chemicals. Ultimately, the Cleaner contributes to the overall aesthetic and functional quality of the workplace, promoting a positive atmosphere for productivity. Locations: 7226-LC Long Beach, NY (flat rate pay $17.00 wages + $8.00 non‑taxable transportation per clean, site cleaned 5 days/week Mon‑Fri, 1 hour between 2:30 PM‑11:00 PM, no weekend work); 7202‑LC Rockville, NY (flat rate pay $17.00 wages + $8.00 non‑taxable transportation per clean, site cleaned 6 days/week Mon‑Fri plus Sat 1 hour after 1:00 PM, no Sunday work).

Responsibilities

• Bathrooms cleaned
• Floors swept and mopped throughout
• Trash collected and removed from each office and space
• Counters/desks wiped
• All cleaning supplies provided onsite

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 10+ pounds regularly
• Bend, stretch, twist, reach above head, squat, walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Climb stairs

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles
• Floor care experience & floor care machine knowledge a plus
• Window cleaning experience a plus

Pay

Flat rate pay of $17.00 wages plus $8.00 non‑taxable transportation allowance per clean (applies to both locations).

Schedule

Long Beach site: cleaned 5 days per week Monday‑Friday, 1 hour of work between 2:30 PM and 11:00 PM (no Saturday or Sunday work).
Rockville site: cleaned 6 days per week Monday‑Friday plus Saturday (1 hour after 1:00 PM), no Sunday work.
