About the role

The Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors at our corporate facility. This position involves performing a variety of janitorial duties that ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of indoor (and outdoor where requested) spaces. The Cleaner contributes to the overall aesthetic and functional quality of the workplace, promoting a positive atmosphere for productivity.

Responsibilities

Can include but are not limited to:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of office spaces, exam rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Dusting, glass cleaning, emptying trash, and restocking paper products.
• Conduct floor care activities, including floor scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Adhere to safety procedures while operating machinery and using cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 20+ pounds regularly.
• Bend, stretch, twist, reach above head, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Climb stairs.

Skills

The required skills for this position include janitorial duties and floor care, essential for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Daily tasks will involve using various cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure all areas are hygienic and presentable. Knowledge of safety procedures is crucial when operating machinery.

Pay

• 8677 - LC - Watertown, NY: Flat rate of $17.00 wages & $8.00 non-taxable gas incentive pay per clean.
• 6432 - LC - Watertown, NY: Flat rate of $17.00 wages & $3.00 non-taxable gas incentive pay per clean.

Schedule

Site is cleaned 5 days per week, Mondays–Fridays, 1 hour of work between 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM. No Saturday or Sunday work permitted.
