CLEANER – 2nd Shift (2 positions available)

Probationary appointment – 12 months, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.

Description of Duties

• Dust, polish tables, desks, etc.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum
• Gather and dispose of refuse
• Assist in general clean-up of school, school grounds, and parking lots

Requirements

• Neat, clean appearance
• Punctual
• Ability to get along with professional and supportive staff
• Possess appropriate driver’s license

Physical Demands

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
• Occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs
• Frequently required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

• Some knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
• Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions
• Ability to get along well with others
