Clean Room Operator I - 2nd shift

Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities

• Uses inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, comparator, etc.)
• Maintains high standard of work quality
• Performs first piece and in-process inspection(s)
• Keeps records of all inspections and parts run
• Strives to maximize efficiency and improve quality
• Performs ERP system transactions
• Flexible with changing job priorities
• Comfortable with cross-functional tasks
• Assembles and packages complex medical devices and components
• Measures and records complex part dimensions
• Enters and/or creates hand-written and computerized data into various systems
• Able to perform all level I tasks
• Assists with training new staff as directed

Qualifications

• Ability to work with small diameter parts requiring tight tolerances and high quality finishes
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and follow work instructions
• Good mechanical and math aptitude
• 2-3 years’ industrial experience in manufacturing/machine operating preferred
• Good communication skills
• Dependable, efficient, and productive work habits
• Good problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements

• Frequent performing repetitive work
• Occasional lifting (max. 40 lbs.)
• Occasional carrying (max. 40 lbs.)
• Subject to physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts
