Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform service, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of clean agent fire suppression systems in accordance with applicable NFPA standards, manufacturer specifications, and company safety policies.
- Inspect valves, gauges, piping, sprinkler heads, alarm connections, and related suppression system components.
- Perform functional testing to verify proper system operation and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements.
- Identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and communicate findings clearly to customers and supervisors.
- Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, inspection reports, and technical manuals.
- Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete inspection work efficiently and safely.
- Complete inspection reports, deficiency documentation, and service records accurately and on time.
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors regarding job progress and system status.
- Follow all company safety procedures and customer site requirements.
- Travel to job sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in fire and life safety industry as an apprentice or technician.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, if driving role.
- Strong working knowledge of fire suppression systems and inspection procedures.
- Ability to work independently and complete standard inspection jobs without direct supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and system drawings.
- NICET II certification required.
- Experience with commercial fire suppression systems and inspection compliance requirements preferred.
Other Duties

- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
- Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
- Use of hand tools and testing equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
Pay Range
$35 - $45 Hourly DOE
