About the Role

A Maintenance Service Technician – Handyman is key to a successful model home center. Your home repair efforts will translate into happy homeowners and a strong community reputation. This role requires a wide range of handyman skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance to maintain property appearance and condition
• Complete service requests
• Perform preventative care on HVAC and other systems
• Repair exterior and roof damage
• Respond promptly to service calls and ensure thorough, timely repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Numerous and varied handyman skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (e.g., furniture, wallboard, water heater up to 100 lbs.)
• Physical endurance for strenuous tasks, including stooping, bending, lifting, and climbing
• Ability to safely climb ladders and work in all environments (extreme heat/cold, rain/snow)
• Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and post-offer drug screen

Pay

Hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $28.00, depending on experience.
