Clay Modeling Supervisor job responsibilities include but not limited to: Oversee, monitor, and coordinate manpower, data, and workflow for the development of three-dimensional clay and composite material models, interior and/or exteriorCoordinate with internal (milling, engineering, fabrication, …) and off-site (outside suppliers) resources to ensure timely and accurate illustrations of design intentLead and motivate a team of sculptors to support accurate, timely and correctly represented models for surface development, verification, and multi-level decision meetingsManage and maintain records of employeesForecast upcoming workload and anticipate manpower needs Basic Qualifications HS Diploma/GED8 years in automotive clay modeling and/or automotive design prototypingAbility to facilitate meetings and communicate at all levels of the organizationStrategize work plans and prioritize assignments Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degreeExperience in automotive designMicrosoft Office SuiteStrong knowledge of industrial clay modeling, rapid prototyping, fabrication, materials, and 3-dimensional processesStrong organizational skillsInspire and motivate work teamsAbility to prioritize and discern the critical pathUnderstand corporate/supplier relationships Our Benefits — Designed With You In Mind Comprehensive Health & Well-being Coverage From your very first day, you’ll have access to medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage — ensuring you and your family stay healthy and protected.
