Summary Description

This position provides academic, social, physical, and skills development for students in specific grades/subject areas to prepare them for success as 21st-century citizens and workers.

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple sections of English Language Arts in a rotational schedule
• Collaborate with other content-specific team members to deliver comprehensive instruction
• Ensure students are prepared for academic and real-world challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and endorsement in the grade/subject taught
• Valid Tennessee teaching certificate
• Highly qualified
• Compliant with Tennessee Code Annotated and collective bargaining agreement
• Physically and mentally capable of performing the responsibilities

Qualifications

• Proof of education, training, and/or experience is required
• Formula for degree equivalency: Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years + required years of experience
• Master’s Degree = 6 years + required years of experience
