Summary Description

This position is responsible for the professional instructions designed to provide academic, social, physical, and skills development for students in specific grades/subject areas to prepare them to be successful citizens and workers in the 21st century.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Endorsement in the grade/subject taught
• A valid Tennessee certificate
• Must be highly qualified
• Governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Tennessee Code Annotated and the collective bargaining agreement
• Must be physically and mentally able to perform the responsibilities and duties of the position

Qualifications

• Proof of Education, Training, and/or Experience is required
• Formula: Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years + required years of experience
• Master’s Degree = 6 years + required years of experience
