About the role
Responsible for the implementation of after-school and summer camp activities to groups of students. Provide supervision and guidance to students in the after-school and summer camp programs. Locations Available: PS/MS 161 499 W 133rd St New York, NY 10027; PS 36 123 Morningside Drive New York, NY 10027; PS 153 1750 Amsterdam Avenue New York, NY 10031; PS 129 425 W 130th St New York, NY 10027; PS 92 222 West 134th St New York, NY 10030.
Responsibilities
- Implement after-school and summer camp activities for groups of students.
- Provide supervision and guidance to students in the after-school and summer camp programs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
- 9 to 18 months experience working with school-age children in a recreation, fine arts, camping or academic setting.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions.
