Classroom Assistant Substitute
Job Description
The primary responsibility of a Classroom Assistant Substitute is to assist teachers in maintaining a safe and productive learning environment. Duties may include monitoring student behavior, assisting with classroom activities, and providing support during teacher absence.
Requirements
- High School/GED diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques
- Basic computer skills for using the Frontline Absence Management/Aesop System
Qualifications
Experience working with children, particularly in educational settings, is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, patience, and a positive attitude.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are beneficial.

Onboarding Process
After completing the required training and submitting references and a High School Diploma/GED, candidates will be contacted to schedule an onboarding appointment. Once hired, substitutes must complete additional training and adhere to the job description.
