Duties
- Assist the teacher in preparing and conducting classroom activities which provide a developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum.
- Utilize developmentally appropriate practices as outlined in the Program’s philosophy and Creative Curriculum.
Minimum Qualifications
- If you do not meet the minimum qualifications, on the job training may be provided.
- Completion of high school or equivalent.
- Completion of two courses in Early Childhood Education through an institute of higher education.
- Six months’ related work experience working in Early Childhood.
- Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation w/AED (CPR) within 2 months of hire.
- Certificate of completion of Abusive Head Trauma training prior to working at the center.
