About the role

This position is for a reading intervention aide (Walk to Read program) to work with students in small groups from kindergarten to sixth grade everyday.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in small groups from kindergarten to sixth grade everyday
• Be patient, kind, organized, and work well with others
• Manage a small group of students

Requirements

• Patient, kind, organized, and able to work well with others
• Experience working with children in a classroom or tutoring setting is preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Effective July 1, 2026
• Lane 1 (Step 1): $17.88/Hour
• Lane 2 (Step 1): $18.88/Hour
• Lane 3 (Step 1): $19.94/Hour
• Associate's degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university
• Or
• Current/Former Licensed Teacher (Highly Qualified)
