Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and supervise a training program tailored to each individual's needs.
• Collect and document data on individual goals.
• Document and manage medical data or target behaviors daily.
• Participate in general program duties including arrivals, breaks, lunches, and departures.
• Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of the program, following the cleaning schedule, and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect individuals' rights.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
• Attend and participate in required meetings.
• Maintain all necessary certifications including FA/CPR and PABC.
• Ensure all individuals are safely transported to and from day service programs.
• Interact with individuals, family members, staff, and others with patience and sensitivity.
• Operate the vehicle safely and within all legal requirements.
• Report any maintenance issues related to the vehicle.
• Notify supervisors of any deviations from the scheduled route time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• A valid MA driver's license with a good driving record history with no more than 2 moving violations in the last three years.
• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to interact with individuals, residential staff, parents, and facility staff with patience and sensitivity.

Qualifications

• Must be 20.5 years of age or older.
• Must have a normal range of eyesight, hearing, and a normal range of physical abilities.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to operate a 12-passenger van and/or a handicap-accessible van.
• Must complete an annual drug screen and physical.

Pay

The pay range for this position is the hourly rate range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
