About the role

We deliver support through various programs including community housing, day programs, outpatient treatment, recovery services, education, and employment training. Responsibilities
- Work with and train individuals on specific day service plan objectives.
- Responsible for data collection of goals of each individual.
- Responsible for daily documentation of medical data or target behaviors.
- Participate in all general programmatic duties (arrivals, breaks, lunches, departures).
- Auxiliary tasks include maintaining the program, following the cleaning schedule, reporting maintenance issues, assisting with administrative duties, attending required meetings, maintaining certifications, ensuring proper vehicle operation, interacting with individuals and families, and completing a quick vehicle safety checklist.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of driving experience.
- A valid MA driver's license with a good driving record history with no more than 2 moving violations in the last three years.
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to interact with patience and sensitivity in all contact with individuals, residential staff, parents, and facility staff.
Qualifications
- Must be 20.5 years of age or older.
- Maintain all appropriate certifications including FA/CPR and PABC.
- Operate the vehicle at all times within all federal, state, and local laws.
- Have good knowledge of routes and locations of all houses, day facilities, and emergency locations.
- Maintain and carry emergency fact sheets, daily attendance, and trip route sheets.
- Complete a quick vehicle safety checklist before beginning your assigned route and report any issues to your supervisor immediately.
- Immediately notify the supervisor of any variance in route time exceeding 15 minutes.
Skills/Knowledge
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to interact with patience and sensitivity in all contact with individuals, residential staff, parents, and facility staff.

Pay
- Classroom Aide/Driver 2: 21.23-21.83 per hour
- Special Education Teacher - K-2 - Substantially Separate Classroom: Estimated $69,691 per year
- Classroom Technology Support Assistant: Estimated $35,233 per year
- Certified Classroom Aide/Floater Teacher: Estimated $65,385 per year
Schedule
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm (40 hours per week)
