About the role
Join our team and make a lasting impact. As a Classroom Aide at New Story Schools, you'll support students with developmental and learning differences in an inclusive general education classroom.
Responsibilities
- Provide academic and social support to students in an inclusive general education classroom
- Aid teachers with instructional activities, classroom organization, and daily routines
- Encourage student engagement, independence, and participation throughout the school day
- Support students in building social skills, peer relationships, and self-advocacy skills
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to help students achieve individualized learning goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passion for supporting students with learning and developmental differences
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency with tools such as Word, Excel, or Google Docs
