Classroom Aide
Needed in Columbia, MO to help the Teacher with classroom activities. Some classrooms serve children ages 3–5 and others serve infants to age 2. The Head Start program is an early childhood education program with a structured learning environment where staff actively supervise and engage with children.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Teacher with classroom activities for children ages 3–5 and infants to age 2
- Actively supervise and engage with children in a structured learning environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Experience working with low-income families and children (preferred)
- Daycare, preschool, or childcare work experience (helpful)
