Classification Management Officer 3

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive classification management guidance in accordance with Executive Orders, National Security guidelines and ICD 710, Classification and Control Markings System
• Performs detailed analysis and quick issue resolution
• Provides classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledge
• Generates, tracks, coordinates and responds to action items in a timely manner
• Conducts classification reviews
• Identifies and assesses sources for classification determinations

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and 12 or more years of relevant security experience
• Associates degree and 8 or more years of relevant security experience
• Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of relevant security experience
• Masters/Doctorate and 3 or more years of relevant security experience
• Ability to handle complex security classification issues
• Demonstrated knowledge of SCI arena
• Thorough understanding of Executive Order 13526 and its implementing directive
• Thorough understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance
• Effective writing, communication and research skills
• Experience providing protection guidance to federal customer
