About the role
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Classical Hematologist to join our growing faculty in Cancer Medicine at our downtown Jacksonville campus. This physician will provide outstanding care for our patients with benign hematological conditions and clonal hematological disorders of uncertain significance.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding care for patients with benign hematological conditions and clonal hematological disorders of uncertain significance.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the clinical care of patients.
- Engage in clinical research and educational activities as part of the Cancer Medicine program.
- Establish and maintain an active clinical practice.
Requirements
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hematology.
- A record of clinical and academic achievement in classical hematology or other areas.
- Demonstrate a passion and commitment to multidisciplinary care.
- Fully support the clinical, research, and educational missions of our program.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
- Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Hematology or Medical Oncology.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
