The mission of West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is to “Serve West Point and the Long Gray Line.” WPAOG is both the alumni association and foundation for the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point. Our vision is to ensure the Long Gray Line remains the most highly connected alumni body in the world. USMA is renowned as the world's preeminent leadership development institution. The student body, or Corps of Cadets, numbers 4,400, and each year approximately 1,000 cadets graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army. West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking a full-time, on-site Class Support Program Manager. This position reports directly to the Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement. This position will provide support to the Class Leaders, and multiple programs within the WPAOG (Class Ring Memorial Program and 50-Year Affiliation). This individual must have excellent leadership skills, organizational skills, and experience in managing customer service. The incumbent will have to build relationships and groups with alumni volunteer leaders, while multi-tasking and simultaneously processing inquiries, working on SOP’s, processes, projects, events, and administrative tasks. Strong oral and written communication skills are required, as well as a high degree of familiarity with information technology systems such as databases, spreadsheets, list servers, and websites. The incumbent must be customer, team, and mission oriented. The incumbent will establish collegial working relationships with co-workers, alumni volunteer leaders, government counterparts at West Point, members of our Association, and the public. At times, work before and after normal duty hours and on weekends is required. The individual will perform various administrative and technical tasks as needed, to include: maintaining and updating electronic records, reports, and e-mail list servers, submitting invoices and expense reports, running queries and reports, creating and assisting in the maintenance of group webpages on the Sallyport community platform, maintaining department program files, creating, monitoring, and compiling surveys and voting sites, and coordinating webinars, conference calls, and meetings. There may be other duties as assigned by the Director. A bachelor’s degree is required. Incumbent must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products, along with 2-4 years’ experience in a managerial support role. Great customer service skills and a professional demeanor are required. WPAOG offers excellent benefits and a pleasant working environment.
