Class C Non CDL Flat Bed Delivery Driver

About the role

Location: Horizon, 1622 Rogers Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Delivery Drivers make safe, complete, accurate and on‑time deliveries to customers while complying with DOT and other regulations. As the face of Horizon on the job site, they represent the company's commitment to exceptional service, build customer relationships and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.
• Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured.
• Collect payments and accurately document delivery.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well‑maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.
• Assist with housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe and secure sales center.
• Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and ability to operate up to a 26000 GVW straight 24‑foot flatbed truck.
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre‑Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at‑fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 20 lb and occasionally up to 75 lb.
• Aptitude to learn ever‑evolving computer systems, programs, handheld technology and processes.
• Ability to observe surroundings for information and recognize potential problems.
• Maintain composure in a fast‑paced environment focused on serving business owners with urgent needs.
• Cooperative, dependable team player.
• Strong customer service attitude.
• Keen awareness of how actions behind‑the‑scenes can impact customer service.
• Good communication and record‑keeping skills.
• Follows and carries out instructions with minimal supervision.
• Possess or obtain forklift certification.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Preferred

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Pay

$22 per hour plus benefits and up to $3,500 in annual bonuses.

Schedule

Shift starts at 8:00 am and runs until finished (local deliveries only, guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week).
