Class C Kindergarten Para (English) at Excelsior Elementary, 3 hours and 45 minutes per day, 182 days per year

Job Responsibilities

• Works with small groups and individual students under the supervision of the Kindergarten classroom teacher.
• Supervises students in the classroom, lunchroom, and recess setting during the classroom teacher's lunch break and prep period.

Job Qualifications

• Experience in working with elementary age children, preferably in classroom instructional support.
• Prominent positive human relations skills with adults and students.
• Demonstrated evidence of ability to take direction.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative.
• Clear communication in speaking and writing.
• Evidence of friendly, outgoing personality.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Evidence of willingness to participate in staff development.
• Demonstrated ability to follow through on a project.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, punctuality, and efficiency.

Pay

$22.61 (new rate for 2026-2027)
