Class B- Regional Delivery Driver

American Welding & Gas has an immediate opening in Springfield, MO. Travel overnight four days per week (Monday through Thursday); hotel accommodations and meals are covered.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and store gas and liquid cylinders and other hard-good supplies.
• Deliver products and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner using a company vehicle.
• Pick up returns at customer locations.
• Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Safely and efficiently move, load, and unload empty/full cylinders.
• Prepare and complete paperwork accurately, including shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with HazMat and Air Brakes endorsements.
• Clean driving record with 3+ years of experience.
• Able to read and write English.
• Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screen, physical, and company-administered road test.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders.
• Frequently lift 50–75 pounds and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.).
• Comfortable using computers.
• Strong communication skills with customers.
