Local Delivery Driver - Class B

About the role

Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Class B Delivery Driver based out of our DeForest Branch. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 6 locations.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for accuracy
• Inspect product for damage
• Keep accurate records of deliveries
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Interact with customers professionally
• Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
• Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally

Requirements

• Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older
• Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM depending on the route)
• Access to reliable and punctual transportation
• Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
• Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
• Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
• Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
• Comfortable driving a straight truck

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English

Dependent on Experience
0 - 2 years: $24
3 - 9 years: $25
10+ years: $26
